In July, Straight Lines Director Belinda Johns joined the Irribiz team in Adelaide for their Annual Managers Conference.
Held once a year, the conference brings together branch managers from across Australia, along with key Irribiz leaders and supplier partners. It is an important opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, align on strategy, share insights, and explore future opportunities.
Sharing, exploring and amplifying
Sharing Marketing Updates
Belinda presented an update on the Irribiz national marketing strategy, highlighting what has been achieved so far and outlining new plans to build a stronger, more consistent brand across the business.
Exploring Local Impact
She also facilitated a workshop with branch managers to better understand the challenges they face and the unique strengths each branch brings to its local community. Together, they explored how standout projects and community connections can be captured and shared to strengthen the national Irribiz presence.
Capturing and Extending Content
To extend the impact of the event, Belinda photographed and filmed highlights that could be shared online, showcasing the energy of the conference with the wider Irribiz team and industry peers
Beyond the sessions
Learning in the field
The program included presentations from partners, insights from industry leaders, and farm visits with clients including Nicols Carrots, Adelaide Hydro Fresh, and VoCo Farms.
These experiences gave managers and partners the chance to see innovation in action and discuss how new solutions are shaping the future of irrigation and protected cropping.
Listening is key
Just as important as presenting was listening.
Connecting directly with branch managers provided insight into the challenges they are solving, the customers they are serving, and the pride they have in their local teams.
These learnings feed into the way Straight Lines supports Irribiz, ensuring the marketing strategies we develop are not only creative and consistent but also practical, authentic, and relevant to the people who live and breathe the brand every day.
What This Means for Our Clients
The way we worked with Irribiz at their conference reflects the approach we take with every client:
We listen first. Local challenges and strengths are the foundation of effective marketing.
We connect the dots. From the big-picture strategy to everyday stories, we help turn wins into brand-building opportunities.
We extend your impact. Whether it is an event, a launch, or a project milestone, we make sure the story reaches the right audiences long after the moment has passed.
At Straight Lines, we believe this kind of collaboration creates marketing that lasts, because it starts with real conversations, with real people, and delivers results that matter.
